30+ Years Experience
Harvard Medical School

Pankaj Karan, M.D. is a board-certified Internal Medicine physician, healthcare educator, and founder of the Global Healthcare Education Alliance (GHEA). With more than three decades of clinical experience in the United States, Dr. Karan has dedicated much of his career to caring for patients and helping individuals better understand their health.

As a physician and digital health educator, he believes that reliable medical knowledge should be easy to understand, practical, and accessible to everyone - regardless of geography, language, or socioeconomic background.

Dr. Karan founded GHEA as a nonprofit educational initiative with a simple mission: to make trustworthy health education available to people around the world. GHEA aims to bring together physicians, healthcare professionals, educators, and technology to develop and share evidence-based educational videos, presentations, patient handouts, and other learning resources in multiple languages.

His vision for GHEA is to create a growing global health-education library where complex medical information is translated into clear, understandable knowledge that helps people make better-informed decisions about their health.

“Good health begins with good information. Our goal is to make reliable health education accessible to everyone, everywhere.”

Top Doctor 2023

Professor Narinder Pal Singh is a physician, nephrologist, medical educator, researcher, and lifelong learner with nearly five decades of experience in medicine and medical education. His professional journey has been guided by a simple belief: education becomes more meaningful when knowledge is shared, experiences are exchanged, and learning transcends geographical boundaries.

A graduate and postgraduate of Maulana Azad Medical College, University of Delhi, Professor Singh has spent much of his career teaching, mentoring, and training generations of physicians and postgraduate students. He has held several academic and leadership positions, including Dean of Research at Eternal University, Director of Medicine at Pushpanjali Crosslay Hospital, and Vice President of the Association of Physicians of India (API). He is also a Fellow of the American College of Physicians and the Royal College of Physicians of Edinburgh.

With 150+ publications and extensive experience in clinical medicine, nephrology, hypertension, diabetes, CKD, dialysis, research, and medical education, his interests extend beyond conventional academic medicine. He is particularly passionate about developing practical, case-based approaches to learning and creating opportunities for young physicians and established clinicians to learn from one another.

Professor Singh considers himself both an educator and a student throughout life. His continuing journey of learning - including his engagement with medical education and professional development in the United States - reflects his conviction that a true teacher must remain a learner.

As a Founder Partner of Global Health Education Associates (GHEA), he hopes to contribute to building a global community where teachers become learners, learners become teachers, and knowledge flows freely across countries, cultures, and generations.

His vision for GHEA is simple yet ambitious: to connect people across the world through education, shared experience, mentorship, and a common commitment to improving healthcare.
